The Honeywell 50-pint dehumidifier is designed to remove up to 50 pints of moisture daily from medium to large rooms. A digital humidistat control system automatically senses room moisture levels and activates dehumidification to accurately maintain desired humidity levels. The large, detachable, anti-spill water tank collects up to 14.4 pints of moisture and is designed with an ergonomic handle for easy disposal of collected water. The front water-level indicator, full tank light and audible alert system, plus the auto shut off feature make this dehumidifier a great, worry-free home companion. The continuous drain option further increases flexibility by allowing you to continuously drain the water using a standard garden hose (hose not included). Designed for portability, the smooth-gliding caster wheels and convenient side handles move the unit from room to room with ease. - Wish I had gotten the 70 pint one now.
- This unit is working great for our basement. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we’ve only had it about 2 weeks, so I can’t speak to the longevity of the unit. The set up was easy, only took about 5 minnutes. You can set it for specific on/off durations, which I like. It’s been a very humid summer on the east coast, so I’ve had to dump the bucket every day. Overall, I’m really happy with this dehumidifier – it’s made a huge difference in our basement!
- Excellent unit quiet operation compared to other units only complaint I might have is the water tray could be a little easier to slide in
- We put this into our basement and it works great. Within just hours it took down the humidity in the room. We had to attach a hose to it and had it drain out and we keep it set on auto so it will detect and maintain the humidity in the air. Great product so far everything works great. Was easy to set up and worth the money. Would highly recommend.

- Excellent! Arrived fast. Followed the manufactures instructions by allowing the unit to settle before plugging it into the wall outlet. 4 hours or longer are required for unit to stay in the normal/operating orientation prior to energizing it. When desired humidity level is reached, the compressor shuts off and FAN shuts off too. The last portion is important to me – this way the unit is not running 24/7. Hence, it is energy efficient. Other manufactures shut off only the compressor, while the fan continues to run non-stop. easy to remove the bucket. Well made product. Will see how good is longevity. It has 5 year warranty on “Closed system”, which is includes the important things: condenser and compressor.

- Unit worked great for three days, then died. No Power to indicators on the unit. Just would hum if the tank was removed. If you were to consider this unit. Go to the vendor web site and look at their return policy first.
