- I shopped around for a futon for a long time before finally settling on this one — because it had the most positive reviews in its price range…and now that I’ve had it for a few weeks, I can understand why! This futon was a snap to put together. My instructions weren’t included, and I was still able to very easily figure it out — it was basically screwing on the legs, and it was ready to go! The ‘mattress’ is thick and comfortable, and at first glance it might not seem like it could fit 2 adults, but it very easily and comfortably can. This is a fantastic futon, and I definitely made the right choice in buying it!
- I live in a high rise condo with a small freight elevator. I have had to return three couches because they could not fit in the small elevator. This futon is wonderful because it comes in two large (heavy) pieces. It took me 45 minutes to assemble the futon–but I’m a single girl with a screwdriver. I am 6’1″ and I can sleep on the futon with plenty of length for my feet. Although the legs are rather short, which makes the futon sit low to the ground, it is still an excellent purchase. I am not dissatisfied at all. the price, the shipping, the installation, and everything associated with this futon was pretty good! I would definitely purchase this futon again and again!
- I was looking for a large futon and a quality futon at a great price. This futon is exactly that. The design is sleek and modern. The color nice. I wasn’t worried about the color because I am a believer of throwing a nice blanket over anything for a spark of color. I was able to assemble it alone in about 25 minutes. It is however large and awkward for one person to flip over once it is put together. It feels extremely well made, and looks much more expensive than it is. The cushions are very firm. I am quite happy with my purchase and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a larger futon.
- I love it. It’s big enough for 3 medium size adults. And big enough for 2 to sleep on. A little difficult to put together. Might need 2 people. Oh and super heavy to carry when it’s delivered.
- For such a big piece of furniture, this was so easy to put together: it took two of us less than ten minutes. This is comfortable to sit on, and not bad to sleep on—if you or your guests don’t like firm mattresses, you may want to add a foam layer.
- at least set up is easy. took less than an hour, only needed the provided tool. the cushioned portion comes in two parts; they are only held together by the metal legs in the center that are bolted to the frame. a family member bought this for me as a housewarming gift, and within the week or so since its arrival, i’ve noticed that the seams have begun to pull apart and the cushions to deform slightly. definitely not worth the price she paid for it, and we will be attempting to return it asap. i attempted to attach photos to this review to show the damage, but keep getting “Time limit exceeded, unable to upload!”
